Through the search page your customers can find the products they are looking for even faster. There are several search filters on and off for the search page, these are all described.
Search settings:
The search settings can be found under:
"Starting point - My webshop - Settings - Managing search - Search settings".
Below you will find the settings that determine how advanced search looks in your web store. You can view and change the settings here.
Here are also the settings with which you can enable additional search options.

Filter types:
Before we go into the actual setting of the search filters it is first important to know what type of filters there are. Below we will go through the ten different options.
Price:
This type of filter makes it possible to display products within a certain price range.
Stock:
Here you can specify the minimum and maximum stock so that you only see products within these two values.
Brand:
As the name suggests, this filter makes it possible to filter on the brand.
Subcategory:
This makes it possible to filter in the filter for subcategories.
Keyword:
This makes it possible to filter on specific words that you can specify for products.
Review:
If this filter is active and checked on the search page, only products with a review will be shown.
Photo:
This allows you to filter on products that have a photo.
In stock:
With this option you can search on products that are in stock.
Discount:
Search only for products that have a discount.
Categories:
Select a specific category to search.
Set search filters:
The settings for setting the search filters can be found under:
"Starting point > My webshop > Settings > Managing search > Search filters".
You will also find a tab "Categories" when creating a filter. In that tab you determine within which main and / or subcategory the filter should or should not come forward.
Price:
Within this type of filter you can indicate between which minimum and maximum price the customer can filter. You can choose from an input field or a scroll bar.
In the case of a scroll bar; If, for example, your products do not cost more than 100 euros each, it makes no sense to install a price filter that goes to 10,000.
Stock:
The same applies here as with the price. If you do not have a larger stock than 10 per product, it is not necessary to allow visitors to enter 10,000.
Brand:
When creating and / or changing a product you can enter a trademark under the tab "Metadata". These brands will therefore end up in that filter. You have the possibility to show these brands in a checkbox list or a dropdown menu.
Subcategory:
This filter makes it possible to filter within a category for subcategories in that category.
Keyword:
Suppose you add the words 'red, blue, green' as keywords, then you can make a color filter. Suppose you add the numbers '15, 20, 25 ', then you have a filter for, for example, the dimensions. You could show this by means of a scroll bar so that the customer can slide between certain sizes, or through a checkbox list where all keywords can be individually checked or unchecked.
Review:
There are no settings for this, this is just a checkbox.
