Safety and Container deposits

By installing the 'Safety and Container deposits' app, you can indicate how much additional safety and / or container money applies to the product in the product management by means of two fields per product. Think of a deposit on bottles or a deposit when renting out or lending products. When a consumer orders this product, the safety and / or container money is automatically added to the order. The total deposit and / or deposit amount of an order is summed in the shopping cart.

Return deposit to the customer

If a consumer has ordered a product to which the deposit applies, you can check whether the deposit is already returned to the consumer. When the deposit is indeed returned, you can indicate this at the 'Status Order' tab, so that the order is marked. If the order is paid with CCV Online Payments, is possible to have the deposit immediately returned to the customer. To do this, press the 'Return deposit' button. If necessary, the amount can be adjusted if necessary.

Safety and container deposits in combination with discounts, savings points and extra costs

Below is described how safety and container deposits are handled with an order in different situations. For safety and container deposits the same applies with the following statements:

• Deposit has 0% VAT.
• Deposit is not eligible for discounts.
• Deposit is part of the total amount in the shopping cart.

• With discount coupons that are only valid when the customer has a certain minimum
amount, deposit does not count towards this minimum amount.
• Shopping cart discounts do not give discounts on a deposit.
• The costs associated with certain payment methods (percentages)
calculated on the total amount, ie including a deposit.
• When shipping costs apply only from a certain amount,
just expire from a certain amount, or when the scales apply
Based on an amount, a deposit does not count towards this amount.
• User discount (after login) does not apply to a deposit.
• No loyalty points can be earned on deposit money.
• Savings points can not be returned for a discount on a deposit.
• When a minimum order amount applies, a deposit is included for this
amount.
• When there is a minimum order amount for electronic
payment methods, deposit money counts for this amount.
• Deposit money is not included in sales, purchase and margin statistics.
