CCV Shop has realised a link with MyParcel. MyParcel is a solution for webshop owners who want to organise their shipping process more easily and cheaply. The main advantages are advantageous rates, excellent service and reliable delivery from PostNL.
With the link developed by CCV Shop, you can easily register your shipments with MyParcel in the maintenance tool and then print a label directly without having to log in to MyParcel. The Track & Trace code is also automatically added to an order, so that you can inform the customer by means of a status update. This saves you a lot of time because you don't have to re-enter your data or work with import files.
Setting up MyParcel
Connecting to MyParcel is very simple. Of course you first need to have an account with MyParcel. This can be requested on the MyParcel website. After you have created an account, you can log in to your MyParcel account. At MyParcel you can click on the puppet at the top right to go to your account. In the general settings you have access to your API Key. Is there no API Key here? Ask your account manager for the API key.
Once this has been arranged, you can set up your account in the CCV Shop maintenance tool. First of all, you need to install MyParcel's app in the App Store within your webshop, which can be found via Start > App Store > MyParcel Shipping Service.
You can then find the app's settings via: "Starting point > My Webshop > Settings > Shipping costs & logistics > MyParcel shipping service".
MyParcel API key:
Fill in the API key that is in your account at MyParcel.
Standard shipping method:
You can fill in the standard shipping method here. The options are:

Unpaid letter
Letterbox
Signature for receipt:
Indicate here if you want a signature for receipt of the package. If you wish, the recipient must first sign the parcel at the delivery address before he/she is allowed to receive it.

Return in case of no hearing:
Indicate here if the parcel should be returned when nobody is at home.

Only home address:
When the parcels you send are not allowed to be delivered to the neighbours, it is best to set this setting to 'Yes'. Because of this, the package will not be delivered to the neighbours.

Insured shipping:
MyParcel has several insurances for shipping your package. Of course it is possible not to insure the package. In addition, you can insure the full order value. You can also opt for a fixed insured amount. If there is a better scale to fit the order, a more favorable insured amount will automatically be sent.
Please note that there are extra costs for insured shipping with MyParcel. It is best to contact MyParcel for more information.
CCV Shop is not liable for incorrect settings/shipments regarding insurance and other options. Always check before sending the parcel whether the correct label has been printed with the corresponding insurance.
Label format:
You can specify the standard label format here. You can choose between A4 or A6 format.
You have now created a link with MyParcel. You can now use the link. There are two ways to send an order to MyParcel and print a label. This can be done for an individual order and by means of group actions.
Age check:
With the age check 18+ it is possible to do an age check when delivering with MyParcel.
It is not possible to activate the age check in combination with evening delivery or morning delivery. In addition, when using the age check, 'Signature for receipt' and 'Home address only' are requirements.
Sending an order with an individual order
As you probably know, all orders are in order management. You can view your orders via Start > My Orders > Order Management. If you click on an order in the order manager, you will see a new window with all the information about this order. If you go to the "Links" tab, you will see a heading "Export order to MyParcel".
Order not yet sent to My Parcel.
If you have not yet sent the order to MyParcel, you have one option: "Log in to MyParcel and download label". If you click on it, the order will be sent to MyParcel and a shipment will be created at MyParcel. If this is successful, you will receive the label as a download which you can print. In addition, the Track & Trace code is automatically filled in with the order so that you can inform the customer.
There is also an additional heading called "History" where you can view the history of the order, such as date, time, action, link and the result.
Order has been sent to My Parcel before:
If you have already sent an order to MyParcel before, you will see two possibilities: "Log the order again and download a new label".
and "download label before shipment"
The first possibility "Re-register the order and download a new label" is to re-submit the order if, for example, you have deleted the shipment at MyParcel or if there are changes in the address of the order, for example. Please note that the old shipment is not automatically deleted at MyParcel but that you have to do this manually at MyParcel.
With the second option "Download label before shipment" you can easily reprint the label. All data in MyParcel will remain the same, you will only receive the label which you can print on the box.
Send orders by group actions
If you want to send multiple orders to MyParcel and/or print multiple labels at the same time, you can use a group action. In the order management you can select a check mark for each order. You can tick multiple orders that you want to send to MyParcel. At the top of the pull down menu "Select group action" you choose the option "MyParcel labels (creates shipping if necessary)". Next you will see a pop-up where you can make another choice with the following options: type of shipment, insured shipping, label size and label printing location.
All orders that have not yet been sent to MyParcel will be sent automatically. In addition, a label will be created for each order and you can download it.
Only those orders that have not yet been sent to MyParcel will be created. They will not be created again so you will not get duplicate shipments in MyParcel and you can print multiple orders in one go without having to worry about the technique behind it. If you still want to re-ship a shipment to MyParcel, you can do this with an individual order, which we explained above.
Review of statuses
In the order management you can see for each order whether it has been sent to MyParcel or not. You can 'hover' over the grey truck with your mouse and immediately see the status. This way you always have an overview of which orders have been sent and which have not. Also with an individual order, under tab "Links", the history of the actions done to MyParcel is kept.
PostNL Checkout integration into MyParcel (Only for MyParcel Nederland)
The MyParcel plugin can also be used in combination with the PostNL Checkout. Your customers can choose a different delivery address, a different time of day or a PostNL pick-up location when ordering. MyParcel takes this into account when generating the label and a custom label is generated.
Installation
PostNL Checkout is an app that can be found in the CCV Shop App Store under the category "Shipments".
You do not need to have a PostNL account to use this app. All you have to do is activate the delivery options. MyParcel does not support 'Sunday delivery' and 'Same day delivery'. Please note! If you would like these delivery options, the PostNL Shipping Service does support these deliveries.
My Parcel Belgium
It is now also possible for Belgian webshop owners to use My Parcel. For this you need to install the MyParcelBE app.
Attention! PostNL checkout is not available at MyParcelBE.
