At the moment your customers have to go through the ordering process step by step when buying a product. The regular ordering process consists of several pages that have to be filled in with data. With every step, the customer must click through to go to the next step.
A common problem is that potential customers places products in the shopping cart and then end the ordering process. The checkout process is therefore very important in the webshop. With every step that the customer has to go through (registration, shipping method, payment method, etc.) there is a chance that he will drop out so there is a change you will miss out on a potential order / income. To increase the conversion of your webshop, you can now use the One Page Checkout or the One Step Checkout.
If you want to use the One Page Checkout you have to install the app and then activate a number of settings.
The One Page Checkout gives you the possibility to choose between different ordering processes. You can install the app for free in the maintenance tool via: ''Starting point > App Store'' under the category 'Support'. Then click install. The app becomes available after installation at the settings.
This setting can be found via: ''Starting point > My Webshop > Settings > Order process and stock > Settings ordering process''. The One Page Checkout allows you to activate the Regular checkout process, the One Page Checkout and the One Step Checkout.
You can choose to activate one checkout, but two or three are also possible.
The regular ordering process consists of several steps. The regular order process can be recognized by the steps that are each on a different page.
One Page Checkout
With a One Page Checkout, the steps of the ordering process are on one page, below each other.
One Step Checkout
The One Step Checkout is a checkout that can be recognized by the steps that are next to each other on one page.
You also have the choice to switch the price calculator on or off. The price calculator will show the total price of the order in the shopping cart.
Please note! This can only be activated with the One Page Checkout and the One Step Checkout.
When you use multiple checkouts in the webshop, you can see exactly which checkout produces the most conversion in your webshop in the order statistics in the maintenance tool. To see this go to "Starting point > My Webshop > Order statistics'. You can choose the desired period here and at 'Conversion percentages per type of checkout' you can view the results accurately.
