Do you sell to consumers but would you also like to sell B2B? Or do you already sell B2B but want to serve your B2B customers even better? With the B2B app you can arrange this. Below you will find an overview of the new B2B possibilities. The B2B app is only available in the Enterprise package. If you have another package, you can easily upgrade your webshop to the Enterprise package while keeping your data.
The App
You can activate the Business-to-Business (B2B) functionalities by activating the "Business to Business" app in the CCV Shop App Store via "Starting point > App Store".
After activation, two basic settings have been added to your maintenance tool. Via "Starting point > My Webshop > Settings > General > B2B" you will find the following settings:
- B2B functionality on or off. Here you can enable or disable the B2B functionality.
- Type of customer. Do you want to sell your products to companies, consumers or both? With this setting in combination with a guest user (see below in this manual) you can determine what a non logged in user can see and/or order in your webshop.
Order process
It is possible to enable or disable certain data fields for B2C and/or B2B. This can be controlled via "Starting point > My Webshop > Settings > Order process & stock > Data fields for an order". With this data of an order you can decide which data fields you want to show. This way you can enable the company name and the KVK number for B2B sales.
User Management
Guest user
To determine what users who are not logged in can see and do, there is a guest user option. When the B2B functionality is enabled, it is created automatically.
You can change the settings by going to "Starting point > My Customers > Users" and clicking on the button "Guest default settings".
You will see 4 tabs with different settings:
Personal data: by setting the customer type to 'B2C' and indicating in the settings that you only want to sell to B2B, you limit the selling of products to a user who is not logged in.
Categories and products: Here you can hide categories and products from a guest user. You can't see a product in a hidden category. Also not via a direct link.
Payment options: you can set here which payment options you want to offer to guest users.
User
You can edit existing and/or new users in the user management. At a user you will see a number of tabs. These tabs are disabled when the user is a member of a usergroup, because at that moment the settings of the usergroup are leading. Remove the user from the group if you want the settings to apply to the user, or set the settings for the group (see chapter 'User groups').
Categories
Under the 'categories' tab, you can hide categories from a user and give a discount percentage to a category. All products in this category will then receive this discount percentage.
When a product is in more than one category, a choice has to be made whether you want to use the highest or lowest discount. For this product always the same discount applies regardless of which category it is in.
Products
Under the tab 'products' you can hide a product or adjust the price for a user. By clicking on the three dots in the line of the product you get the possibility to adjust prices and if set also attribute prices. When you define a price for a product, there will no longer be a discount from a category, but the price that is entered for the product will prevail.
Payment options
Under the tab 'payment options' you can disable payment options for one or more users.
Import
To quickly import users click on the button "Import new users" under "Starting point > My customers > Users".
You start by selecting a .CSV file and follow the steps that follow. When you have finished configuring your import, the import starts after 10 minutes. This way you have enough time to cancel the import.
User groups
If you prefer to do all the settings at user group level, go to your 'user group' and you will see the following 3 tabs.
You can change the settings by going to "Starting point > My customers > User groups".

Under the 'categories' tab, you can hide categories from a user and give a discount percentage to a category. All products in this category will then receive this discount percentage.

Under the tab 'payment options' you can disable payment options for a user.
Order management
It is now possible to create an order for a user. This is not necessarily based on customer data to do as before. When you create a new order in the order management and you search here on user name, you can easily find the user. All data is taken over and any discounts on products are also included. Per order it is now also clear whether an order is a business (B2B) or private (B2C) order.
Important points:
To make your webshop completely ready to sell to the business market (B2B) you can also look at the following settings:
It is possible to display prices including VAT before a visitor is logged in and excluding VAT when a visitor is logged in.
You can also enable the 'accept after registration' setting in combination with B2B. This way you can decide to whom you want to sell.
Products only available to specific users or groups will not be shown in the sitemap.
