Custom text

With this tool you have the possibility to have more than 2000 texts in your webshop
personalized by changing standard texts. Think of texts of buttons and
for example, the text associated with signing up for a newsletter.

This tool is free and can be found in the App Store under "Support". After the installation you can find the app via "Starting point > My Webshop > Custom texts".

When you start editing texts for the first time, all texts are standard.

There are standard seven languages for which you can adjust texts:

• Dutch
• English
• German
• French
• Turkish
• Italian
• Spanish 

Please note! This option only appears when you have set multiple languages for your webshop. This option will then be available. See example below:  

Text categories 

The texts that can be edited are divided into different categories:

• Global
• Review
• Products
• Order fields
• Countries
• Search
• Mobile
• Quotation mail
• Discount
• Wish list
• Pages
• Website general
• Order process
• Miscellaneous
• Customers
• Order mail
• Order confirmation
• Return mail
• Themes 

Search field

Through the search field you can quickly find the texts that you want to change.

 

Here you can enter whole words or parts of a word. As soon as you click on 'search', only the fields that match your search term remain.

Filter
With the filter option you can filter by categories.

If nothing is checked, everything is visible. If you check on more than one, only the selected categories are visible. This way you can easily change per category of fields without having to scroll a lot.

Edit text 

When you enter your own text / name in a field under "My translation", this text is used instead of the standard text. When you have finished your changes, save everything by clicking "Apply". All modified rows are then provided with a gray background, so you can easily see which fields you have adjusted.

Undo changes
If you want to undo a change you can use the delete button next to a field, which can be recognized by this  icon. This way you can quickly empty a desired field and then use the standard text again. Have you adjusted many fields and do you want to empty them all? Then use the "Clear All Fields" button, which is located at the top right of the table and looks like this.

 

Modified texts by CCV Shop
In the event that you have modified a text and we later change the standard text, you will receive a notification in the form of a label at the relevant field.
