Email styling
The email styling setting is a continuation of being able to enable the “new” email styling that has been released recently. All e-mails that can be sent to the customer are now listed here. You now have the option to adjust colors and texts here and immediately see what the email in question will look like.
This setting is free to use.
Where can the settings be found?
The settings and the overview for all emails can now be found under:
'Starting point > My webshop > Settings > Layout > E-mails'
Here you will now also find the setting for turning on the new styling:
Overview page
If you go to the overview of all e-mails via:
'Starting point > My webshop > Settings > Layout > Emails'
Then you will arrive at this page:
Here you can see all emails sent to your customers and when they were last modified.
For basic settings that every e-mail takes over, such as logo, colors and the e-mail closing, you can click on the 'Mail styling' button.
Mail styling
Once you have arrived at the 'Mail styling' page you can adjust colors and the general email closing.
Logo
This logo will appear at the top of every email.
Text color
Obviously this is the color of the texts in the emails
Background colour
This is the background color of the entire page (grey in the example).
Background color container
This is the background color of the box containing all content (white in the example).
General email closing
Here you can enter a text that will be placed at the bottom of every email.
What if I don't have the new styling on?
Even then you can just adjust texts and colors, but your email will of course look less beautiful than when it is turned on.
No customizable settings
Each email has its own texts, but not all texts can be edited. This may be because there are no (relevant) texts, the texts come from other settings or that they are generated automatically.
That then looks like this:
On the right hand you can still see a preview, you can also just send a test mail.
Regular Settings
Mails that do have settings have an HTML field. Any other languages are also taken into account here.
Pay attention! The example for another language is only loaded if you actually change something in that language!
Test mail
On every page where you edit an email, you will find a “Test mail” button.
With this button you can send an email to yourself, so you can see how the email you are currently editing will actually look like in your own email.
