Data limit exceeded

When you start a webshop or website, you will inevitably generate data traffic. Data traffic is the amount of data that is sent to and from your website. Every visitor to your website downloads the texts and images that are on it. This is one component of the data traffic. In addition, the use of the maintenance tool also contributes to data traffic, as this is also related to your webshop. An example of data traffic is the addition of images to your website.

All of these activities together constitute your total data traffic. On the internet, data traffic is a major expense for a website/provider. Data traffic is charged per megabyte (MB). Our paid packages include a data traffic allowance large enough to run a webshop successfully. However, this entirely depends on the size of images, the number of visits and the frequency and/or scope of the maintenance you do. When you are about to exceed your data allowance, you will receive a notification. This will generally offer you enough time to take appropriate measures.

To prevent your free webshop being taken offline, you can upgrade to package M, L or Enterprise. If you do unexpectedly exceed your data limit, these packages will allow additional data traffic for your webshop and prevent your webshop from going offline.
