A tagcloud is a representation of your entered "Internal keywords" on a website. Tags that are used more often or clicked more often are displayed larger. This tagcloud can be added to the window layout in the themes Enoza and Kameleon.
The tagcloud has three variables that speak for themselves:
What happens is that an x number of keywords is retrieved from the table, which occur most in the webshop, or where is clicked on the most. The size of the words is influenced by how often these keywords occur in the products offered in the webshop, and the number of times that the keywords are clicked.
This is calculated with an algorithm, which makes the words proportionally larger. The minimum size of the words is 6pt, and the maximum size is 20pt. Eventually the results are sorted by name.
The keywords used for the cloud tag are the keywords that you enter on the tab metadata of a product or category with the keywords.
Tagcloud bottom bar
The bottom bar shows a row of x number of keywords, in alphabetical order. The number behind the keywords is the number of times this keyword has been assigned to a product.
Tip: If you apply a keyword to a category, all underlying products are also posted as a result. So if you have a category of 20 products, and you give the category a keyword, this will result in 20 results.
In addition to the tagcloud in the window layout, you can also show tags with the products. This way you can click on a tag and then you will get linked to a page where you can see all the results of that keyword.
This can be set at this location "Starting point > My Webshop > Settings > Layout > Product and Category Lay-Out". It concerns the setting "Show the keywords of the product at the product view".
