Add price line
Price rules are simple formulas that can be drawn up to address a selection of products or an individual product and to apply a certain price processing. You can define multiple price rules and you can position them. If multiple price rules apply to a specific product, only the first price line will be applied. The price rules are processed from top to bottom. The system helps you to set up valid price rules and keeps track of the fact that you do not draw up double price rules.
Example pricing rules
IF Article number IS EQUAL TO abc123 THEN Base price = € 17.95
IF Brand IS EQUAL TO Philips THEN Basic Price - € 5, -
IF Category name IS EQUAL TO hardware THEN Basic price + 10%
IF Category name IS NOT EQUAL TO hardware THEN Basic price + 20%.
The above price rules indicate all different types of price rules. Comparisons are made on the basis of category name, brand and article number in which a distinction can be made whether the specified value here must be the same or not equal. The basic price can be increased, equated or reduced by a certain amount. This amount can be a fixed amount or a percentage.
Based on the examples above, for example, you can see that it is possible to reduce all products of the brand Philips € 5, - in price and to give a product with the item number abc123 a fixed price.
Standard price rule (if none of the above rules apply)
Here you can set a standard price rule that should apply if none of the other price rules apply to a product.
