Alternative name for images

You have the option of adding an alternative name to the images in your webshop. The setting to activate this can be found in your maintenance panel at "Home > My shop > Settings > Layout > Product and category layout".

Once this setting is on, the product name is placed behind the image name by default. You can also choose to add your own name to the image. This can be done via "Starting point > My products > Manage products > Media". On this tab, an input field will then appear under each image you have added. In this field, you can put the alternative name for that specific image. Then click "Save" or "Apply" to save the alternative name.

What does this look like in practice?
Do you sell a perforator on your webshop and is this also the product name? Then the image will be given the file name 125874_perforator.jpg, for example. However, do you add "yellow perforator front" as an alternative name? Then the image name becomes 12584_yellow_perforator_front.jpg.
