In a guestbook visitors of your website can leave their reactions and remarks.
You can easily create a guestbook in the maintenance tool via ''Start > My webshop > Pages''. There you click on 'add page'. Choose a modular page, and then add the element 'Guestbook / reviews'.
When you open the guestbook, you will see the option 'guestbook settings'. Here are three settings, namely:
1. Receive notification when a message is posted:
You indicate whether or not you want to receive an email when a customer has posted a message in the guestbook.
2. Verify messages:
You can indicate whether or not you wish to approve the message before it is posted. Verification is done on the page. Under 'page title' you have the option to change the title of the page. This title is shown at the top of the page. Under the page title you have the possibility to create a text, this text will be shown in the guestbook for the client.
3. Ask customers to rate via email after ordering.
Here you can indicate if you want customers to receive an email to leave a review.
4. Log IP address of customer:
Suppose a customer leaves a lot of comments and spamming your webshop with this? With this option you can find out which IP address this comes from, after which you can block this IP address.
