A loyalty point system ensures customer loyalty. This allows customers to save points and then receive a discount on the order they place in your web store. With each purchase, the customer can see the number of points he / she saves and how many points he / she has accumulated in total. The customer then decides for theirself when the saved points are redeemed.
How does the credit / reward system work?
To be able to use the reward system you must activate the Login system in the app store. After activating the app, you can set up Login Systems in the maintenance tool through ''Starting point > My Webshop > Settings > General > Login Systems'.
Then you install the 'Reward System' app, which you can find in the App Store. You configure the settings of the Reward System through: ''Starting point > My Webshop > Settings > Ordering process & stock > Credit points system.
Short explanation of the options
Credit system active:
This will switch the function on or off.
Here you determine the value of one point.
Here you can add multiple rules to determine how many loyalty points a customer orders. In the image above, a customer receives one point from 10 euros.
Status for adding saved points:
Here you enter the order status that must be used to deposit the loyalty points on the customer's account.
You can assign a customer more or less credit points for whatever reason. You can set this up in the maintenance tool through: ''Starting point > My customers > Users'' (figure 2).
