Product bundles

Do you want to be able to offer other products for certain products so that the
customer could bundle products for a discount? With this app (product bundles) that is possible.
Suppose a customer chooses an umbrella of € 20 in your web store. He / she can use this product
then pay and leave your web store. However, he can also choose one
bundle where different options are possible:

• Bundle 1: umbrella + rain suit for € 30, -.
• Bundle 2: umbrella + rain suit + rainboots for € 45, -.

You can choose a fixed price per bundle or you can choose a discount percentage per product.  

Please note! The app Product bundles does not work in combination with the app Shopping cart discount. Within our system it is not possible to combine these two discounts. 

Install app

First you have to install the app 'Product bundles' from the App Store. You can find this app at: ''Starting point > App Store'' under the category 'Support'. This app is free.

Create a product bundle

When you have installed the app, you will see a new tab 'Product bundles' when editing a product. (Starting point > My Products > Manage products > Edit product). When you click on the button "Create new bundle", you can enter the name of the new bundle.

The following options appear:

Name:
This is the name of the product bundle.

Variable price:
If you have checked this option, you can display a discount percentage per added product. If this option is not checked, you can specify a fixed price. All products from the bundle are then for sale for one price.

Recommended by specialist:
If you enable this option, a description field will appear. Here you can enter a short text giving this bundle extra attention in the webshop.

Button 'add product':
This button opens a search window. Here you can search all your products and add them to the bundle with the plus icon. 

When you have added one or more products, you will see these products displayed on the screen.

Attributes:
In the 'Attributes' column you can optionally select attributes that the customer can not change. You sell this product with this attribute pre-selected. If you do not select an attribute, the customer is given the opportunity to define the product.

Discount:
When you have checked the variable price, you will see this option. Here you can give 0 to 100 percent discount on this product.

Free:
If you check the product it will be free and will receive extra attention.

Creating new bundles:
You can add more bundles by clicking the "Create new bundle" button again. You can make as many bundles as you want. This does not count for the total products of your subscription. By clicking on 'apply' you save the bundles.

Result:
When you have added one or more bundles, you will see this in the form of a bar. At the end of this bar you see a red cross. By clicking here you can delete a bundle. When you click on the bar, the data of this bundle appears.

The bundles are displayed in the webshop under the product view. See figure 6 for the result.

When clicking on a bundle, a detailed overview is displayed with information about the products in the bundle (figure 7).
