What are general terms and conditions?
Terms and conditions are rules that you want to apply by default when concluding an agreement. Terms and conditions can save you a lot of time. As long as the customer accepts the general terms and conditions, you do not have to make further agreements with regard to, for example, guarantee, delivery, prices, payments, etc. in each agreement. In the general terms and conditions, you determine the mutual rights and obligations as much as possible. With this you try to prevent conflicts.
Use general terms and conditions
You can put the general terms and conditions on your webstore there are two options for this:
1. Create a separate page with the general conditions. A special page where the visitor can view and download the terms and conditions.
You can set this at "Starting point > My Webshop > My pages. There you can add a page with page type: "General terms and conditions page."
2. Show the terms and conditions in the order process. The terms and conditions are shown when a customer wants to order. You can set your general terms and conditions in the maintenance panel at "Starting point > My Webshop > Settings > General > General terms and conditions."
Please note! You can best copy the terms and conditions from Word and then 'paste as plain text'. You can also paste in Notepad first and then paste this content back into CCV Shop. This filters the style information away from Word.
