Do you want to expand your range in products or start a webshop without your own stock? In both cases you can use links with wholesalers. In this manual the import tool of CCV Shop in combination with the wholesale EDC is explained step by step. The wholesale import makes it possible for you as a webshop owner to automatically import many products with corresponding information and stock into your webshop.
EDC
EDC is an erotic wholesaler specially developed for business customers. Through this online wholesaler for erotic items you will find a wide range of inexpensive sex products, challenging clothing and other products for exciting moments. EDC has a large number of tools that makes ordering, sending, reselling and paying erotic articles as easy as possible.
At CCV Shop we have four EDC feeds:
- EDC Netherlands
- Censored EDC Netherlands
- EDC Germany
- Censored EDC Germany
You can choose between a Dutch or German feed. The difference is mainly in the standard activated main language and the selection of products that only have a German or Dutch description. EDC Censored contains the same wholesale import as EDC. However, a number of products have been adjusted. This ensures, among other things, that the entire range does not contain images with explicit nudity.
Install App
To be able to use EDC, you first have to install the EDC app in the App Store. You can find the app at ''Starting point > App Store.''. (figure 1).
Activate account
In order to make a link with the wholesaler, you first need to register with EDC through: https://www.one-dc.com/en/signup
The registration data that you received by e-mail can then be entered in the maintenance tool of CCV Shop through Starting point > My Webshop > Settings > Wholesale > EDC. Make a choice here for the packing slip and the Track & Trace code. Click on 'Apply' (figure 2).
By using either the password or the API Key, you can link with EDC and, for example, continue orders. The API key can be found within your EDC environment. When an order is put through, we always check first whether an API key has been entered, if so, we use it, if not, we use the password.
PostNL checkout
Within our link with EDC it is also possible to have your customers order through the PostNL Checkout. This can be an advantage because the customer can choose a PakjeGemak collection point instead of a fixed address. In addition, you can offer additional delivery options such as an evening delivery.
You first need to install the PostNL Checkout in the CCV Shop App Store. The App Store can be found through Starting point > App Store. After installation you have to fill in the following data from EDC at Startingpoint > My Webshop > Settings > Order process & stock > PostNL Checkout:
PostNL Customer code => TCRH
PostNL Customer number => 10393450
PostNL Collection location => 103861
The API key is: 1TuAgd4AlznDFQo0c9UPcZh7ShOyR2a1
Please note! Use the information above at all times instead of your own PostNL data. This ensures that EDC uses the right labels.
After filling in the details you have to use the following settings. The delivery options that are offered in your shop must match what the EDC offers in this. Below the delivery options that EDC offers:
- Monday (standard offer without surcharge)
- Sunday (€ 5)
- Evening (€ 1.25)
- PakjeGemak (no surcharge)
- Extra early (€ 2.50)
- PakjeGemak extra early (€ 2.50)
- SameDay (currently not offered by EDC)
